Isn't it odd?

Isn't it odd? To have to say goodbye,
Isn't it odd? To then feel your heart going away,
Isn't it odd? To look at all the memories with blurry eyes,
Isn't it odd? To have to make yourself understand, the pain is inevitable,
Isn't it odd? To watch the memories grow stronger and stronger as you cry,
Isn't it odd? To never speak a word as you embrace to a painful goodbye,
Isn't it odd? To say goodye, but never feel distant!

Cruel Heartaches

Headaches are curable... Gulp down two paracetamols and you are on the go...
Its the heartaches... They cant be cured... One has to go through all of it's dark phases, and at times, alone. It's the deep, raw, dark kind of pain that doesn't go away. That renews itself with every event. Thats one quality of it. Heartaches never go away, never fade in the background, never leave. Heartaches dont leave scars, they stay. Mostly, they deepen with the circumstances. They make sure, you dont forget them. Even in the happiest of times, these perhaps become the reason that you dont say it's perfect, because at the peak of your happiest laughter, there's a heartache that reminds you of itself.
Your glories, mights, powers, all surrender when, in your heart, there is a weeping, striking, drowning ache.
At times, these heartaches are so mean, they dont let you share them with any other soul. They make you the soul holder of them. They are strange, powerful. They rule over you, in lonliness, in crowds, in happiness, in sadness. They become a part of you. They make sure to get included in every phase of your life. They make sure you remember them. They are treacherous, cold, feroucious,  unyielding. They are heartaches...

Story of pain, misery, grieve and then a smile.

She stood before the mirror. Her face, pale. Her color, yellow. Eyes, sunken in the sockets. She was so lost that it took a few moments to realize it was her in the mirror. She had become scary. She touched her face and then touched the mirror. Taking a deep breath in, she accepted the ugly reality, it was her. Loneliness whispered in her ears. Sadness stood beside her.

All alone, she was there, thinking why was she left all alone. Why did she had to face all of this, why was fate so brutal. She stood there. Her life ran through her mind. She wanted to cry. She wanted to shout. She wanted to do something. But she couldn’t. She just couldn’t shout. It felt like every emotion was stuck inside, deep inside. So deep she couldn’t take it out. She thought it was now a part of her. Enriched deep inside her soul.

Next moment, she couldn’t breath. She stood up and tried to open the window. Fresh air came in. sunlight came with it. A realization hit. She had’nt seen sunlight since a long time. She stood before the window taking deep breaths in. She put her hands in her hair. They were the only thing left in her body that was still beautiful. Thick, brown, shiny beautiful hair. Sun light made them look even more beautiful. She looked at her hair and smiled. That was her first smile after a long time. It felt like years that she had’nt used this expression. She felt good. She stood there and thought, is it necessary for the world around me to be okay so that I feel good? Or am I enough for myself to make me feel good? When fate is’nt that brutal, why am I making it seem so brutal? If I can smile now, I can do anything.

Those were the last moments of her misery, sadness, grieve. She had realized she was important too.

Words...

I stand there..
In the mist that's dark,
It's shadows, grey,
My face is all pale,
Their hungry eyes stare
Their claws grip me
giving me unbearable pain
I try getting free from the grasp
I fall down
My blood all over
I fall.
With their words I bleed,
With their words I die
